About Us

Spitnfire Jigs

NeverWinter Lure Company was created when founder Joey Deans started making his own Jigs because he could never quite find what he needed in the stores. He began by creating his own skirts and attaching them to Jig Heads that he was buying individually. He does the same with his spinnerbaits, and hopefully soon Spitnfire be able to market some of those also.

Spitnfire is based out of Plano, Texas and founder Joey fishes many of the DFW area lakes, with occasional trips to the East Texas Lakes. He grew up in Lubbock, TX, so every chance he had he would head back to Alan Henry lake. The wide variety of lakes helps him to design jigs for different types of water clarities and conditions. No two lakes are alike and neither are Spitnfire jigs. Texans are blessed with such variety. One day you could be fishing stained shallow water on Ray Hubbard or Tawakoni, and travel an hour and half east and fish the Clear waters of Fork. Travel out West to Alan Henry and you'll be fishing cliff edges that drop 30 to 40 feet, 8 foot off the bank; with water so clear you can see down about 6 to 8 feet. Bottom line, Texas gives us a great variety of water for testing different skirt combinations and head designs that'll work all over the world.

Try em out, you'll like em!
